Dairy-farmers are reminded of the record entry that has been received for the Waiwakaiho bull fair to be held by Newton King Ltd. on Tuesday, October 7, when a total of 177 bulls of all- ages will be submitted. A catalogue giving particulars of breeding and butterfat backing has been prepared and a copy can be obtained upon application to the auctioneers. Visitors from New Plymouth, Inglewood and districts were present at th* Gaiety Gold Diggers’ dance at Waitara on Thursday night. 'Music was provided by Boulton’s Dance Band, and a ladies’ committee comprising Mcsdames JI. Spurdie, W. Sampson, Brough ? F. Richards and C. Limmer provided supper. Masters of ceressony were Messrs.
