A special, squad, of police has been detailed to suppress • Sunday trading in Auckland. Besides a number of shop-’ keepers prosecuted to-day, three men were charged with aiding and abetting the sale of goods on Sunday. They were convicted and discharged, but the magistrate said that if the police were going to prosecute customers he would have to fine those concerned. That would probably stop people buying on Sundays.
