COLDER, WET WEATHER.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be cloudy and unsettled with general rain ' and some heavy falls, more especially in the central ‘provinces. Temperatures will become colder with some snow on the high country of the South Inland. An intense depression from the Tasman Inis moved on to the Dominion and is centred off the west coast of Otago. Presf sure has risen over eastern Australia. There will be southerly winds in the far south and north to west elsewhere, but southerlies will gradually extend northwards. Winds will bo moderate to strong generally and of gale force at places. °Seas will become rough generally.
