POLICE COURT CHARGES

MOTOR REGULATION BREACHES. CASES HEARD IN NEW PLYMOUTH Miscellaneous cases were heard, before Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M., in the New Plymouth Police Court yesterday. Cloke was fined 20s (costs 10s).. • , . The Commissioner of Taxes proceeded, against Ernest J. Shrimpton and John eT Nixon for being in receipt of salaries of £250 a year and failing to send in completed forms relating to income tax. Similar charges were brought against Edward J. Kirkwood and Thomas J. Kirkwood. For the prosecution Mr. Grayling said that all these nieu had defaulted in attend inn l to the forms since 1926. Uiey had afways had warnings. Cecil R. Harding was fined 201 (costs 12s) for riding a bicycle without a. proper light. Leonard Sampson. for driving a car without a tail lamp, was ordered to pay costs 12s. For riding a. motor-cycle without a tail lamp'’Anthony J. Leech was fined 20s (costs 12s).
