TAWHIROA BREAKS LEG. JOCKEY HURT AT HASTINGS.’ By Telegraph.—Press'Association; ; , ' Hastings, .Sept;: 23; Y - Tawhiroa, while schooling on the Hastings tracks this morning, fell at a fence and broke the off foreleg above the knee. The horse had to be destroyed. The jockey, Deslandes, received a nasty gash over the right eye, besides body abrasions. His skull ', cap was- smashed.■
