EDITORIAL IN SYDNEY HERALD EX-PRIME MINISTER’S CASE “AIDS REBELLIOUS SPIRITS” By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10.15 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 11. A writ claiming £lO,OOO for alleged libel has been issued by Mr. W. H. Hughes, a former Prime Minister, against the Sydney Morning Herald arising from an editorial of September 8. Mr. Hughes claims that the editorial accuses him of encouraging rebellious spirits who are advocating repudiation of Australia’s overseas debts.
