With, a characteristic Pilsudski touch 22 members of the dissolved Parliament were suddenly arrested, including the ex-Premier Witos and the ex-Cabinet Minister Barlicki. This is supposedly a sequel to the recent decision of the oppositionists to make common cause against Pilsudski who was nervous about the result of the impending elections. It is rumoured that 120 places have been prepared at Brestlitovsk gaol for'the opposition Parliament.
