EMPLOYMENT FOR OFFICERS
POSITIONS IN IMPERIAL. ARMY. OVERSEAS OPPORTUNITIES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Following the suspension of compulsory military training in New Zealand, officers of the permanent staff' corps have received oilers from the Defence authorities in England to take up service with Imperial units in the East and in India. The opportunity is available to all officers up to the rank of major. Every member of the Christchurch staff save one has applied for this service. It is expected that full particulars of the offer will arrive from London in about a month.
