The prefecture of police confirms that an expulsion order w'as served on -lr. iHearst. It is understood, owing to the generally hostile policy pf his newspapers toward France. “I have no complaint to make, said Mr. Hearst. “The French officials made me feel quite important. They said 1 was an enemy and a danger to France, but could stay a little longer if I wishI replied that I did not want to take the responsibility of endangering the French nation. America saved it during the war and I would save it again by leaving it.”
