IMPROVING, CALMER WEATHER.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will still be cold, changeable and showery but will improve tomorrow. A cyclonic depression is now centred north of Chatham Island. An intense anti-cyclone is located over New South Wales and barometers should rise in New Zealand. There will be strong southerly winds reaching gale force in places and moderating gradually to-mor-row. Seas, will be rough generally.
