MATCHES FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS. GLASGOW IN SENIOR FINAL. ■ In a Manukorihi Golf Club senior championship semi-final at Waitara yesterday, W. B. Glasgow beat A. G. Wills over 27 lioles 3 up and two to play. Glasgow was 2 up after five holes, but W ills took three consecutive holes in 3,3, 4, and winning the tenth also, was 2 up. Glasgow then won all the holes from Cricket to Coppice in par figures, finishing the second round 2 up. Gills commenced the third round with a trio of fours, making the position all square with six to play. Glasgow won the Prairie hole, however, and after■Coppice had been halved, took the next two ami the match with’bogey threes. Till* golf played was well up to championsnip stiflidard, the score for three completed rounds being Glasgow 120 ami Wills 123. Included in the 25 holes of the match Glasgow had two birdie lioles and 12-bogeys and Wills had two birdies (one a four at Prairie) and ten holes in par figures. Wills has been unlucky in championship matches, One of the most consistent players, lie has contested two finals, losing to G. P. Fuller last year and previously to Glasgow. G. P. Fuller and E. A. George contest the second semi-final to-morrow, the winner to meet Glasgow in the final over 3G holes. JUNIOR SECOND ROUND DRAW. In the first round of the junior championship F.
