APPLICATION. FOR SUBSIDY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 4. A Alothers’ Health Society deputation asked the-Minister of Health, the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, for the restoration of the £l5O subsidy which, as a measure of economy, had not appeared in this year’s estimates. The Minister regretted having to discontinue the subsidy. He said, however, that he would bring the matter up in the Cabinet and concluded by offering to subscribe £lO himself if other subscribers of a similar amount could be found to make up to £l5O.
