SENTENCE OF HARD LABOUR.. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Gisborne, Aug. 30. Caught in the act of going through a country house on August 22, a Maori, Puka Stevens, aged 37, pleaded guilty in the Police Court this morning to a charge of breaking, entering ami theft. He was committed to the Supreme Couri'- for on four charges of theft. Accused was sentenced to three mohths hard, labour.
