DEFINITION OF BLINDNESS
UNIFORM STANDARD SOUGHT. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Winnipeg, August 29. The optbalmlc section of the British Medical Association conference has forwarded to the association, London, the Australian definition of blindness, with a request for adoption or amendment so that universal standards may be adopted. Another suggestion being forwarded is that after accidents at sea the vision of all those concerned should be examined. Sir James Barrett’s lecture on bush nursing drew one of the largest audiences of the conference.
