RECEIVER APPOINTED
BRITISH COMPANY’S TROUBLE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Aug. 27. Mr. Justice Humphreys granted the London Maritime Investment Company’s unopposed application for the appointment of a receiver. The manager of Lamport and Holt, Ltd., subsequently announced that Sir William McClintock has been appointed receiver. Lamport and Holt, of which Lord Kylsant is chairman, has not paid a dividend on the ordinary shares since 1924. The dividends of the preference shares are in- arrears since 1925.
