INCEST CHARGES ADMITTED
ALLEGED SUICIDE ATTEMPT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Aug. 28. William Frederick Couchman, aged 41, who pleaded guilty to two charges of incest, was committed to the Supreme Court, Wellington, for sentence. He was also charged with attempted suicide by using a small knife ou his throat after being placed in a police cell on August 15. Accused said the knife was not his, and he could not remember anything about the incident.
