CHAIWbD WITH CUTTI.W ORXBR I On a charge of cutting the corner of Devon Street into Liardet Street on August 5, Hedley Eva, aged 11, a mechanic, appeared before the magistrate, Mr. R. W. Tate, at New Plymouth yesterday. Eva was convicted and ordered to pay 10s co-sts and his license was suspended for one month. Senior-Sergeant McCrorie oaid the offence occurred at 1.35 a.m. when, the constable said, Nodder was driving at 50 miles an hour. Nodder said he was driving at between 25 and 30 miles an hour.
