GOLFING AT ROTORUA
CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.-—Press Association. Rotorua, Last’ Night. The Rotorua open amateur golf championship meeting opened this morning in fine weather conditions. The entries were limited to 80, and 20 clubs are represented. The course was in splendid condition. The 10 to qualify are: Rex George 147, Bransden 148, O’Callaghan 149, Phimley, Hocken 152, Troutbeck; H. Lusk 153, Parata, Buddle 154, Bartleet 155, M. Duncan, Dr, Howden, C. H. Howden, Menzies, Wells 156. Harrison, Rainger, S. E. Carr and M. Carr, 157, tied for 16th place and S. E. Carr won the draw.
