DISCOVERED IN LIFEBOAT
STOWAWAYS ON MAUNGANUI. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Maunganui when moored in the stream this morning was boarded by the police, and their search for suspected stowaways was successful. Two young men were found hiding in one of the ship’s lifeboats, and another whose name was not on the passenger list was arrested while walking about the decks. Two of the stowaways were New Zealanders, the other an Australian. Their ages are 18, 20 and 21 years.
