MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS. At Inglewood on Saturday the Star team, winner of the northern division fourth juniors, will meet Inglewood, winner of the central division. The following will represent Inglewood; Herdman, Ladbrook, Evetts, Mtimby, Paul, Hanwright, Ladbrook, Trigger,Burke, Arnold, MeLaggan, Loveridge, Linklater, Petersen, Cowley, Sutton, Lindsay. At the band room ■ on Monday night eight tables were engaged in the weekly euchre party, with the following result: —Miss ’ Priest first, Miss W; : Peters second, Miss P.’ Julian 1 consolation; .Mrs. G. Lamb (playing -as a man) first, Mr. Longstaff second, Mr. Mischewski consolation. • The return cribbage match between the Inglewood Fire Brigade . and the Inglewood Bacon Company was played at the fire station on Monday evening. The last match ended in a draw, even, after extra games were played, and the one played on Monday was a very even one, a margin of one game in favour of the Fire Brigade dividing the scores. Inglewood has so far had very little rain for this time of the year, but on Sunday a heavy downpour was experienced.
