“The absence of f.o.b. buyers in the dairying districts,” said Mr. Alexander, chairman of dii'eetors, at the annual meeting of the Te. Awamutu Co-opera-tive Dairy Company on Friday, “indicates that suppliers will have to expect small advance payments, especially in the early part of the present.season. Prospects are by no means bright, and the attitude of‘the buyers would seem to indicate that they are unwilling to back their own judgment. The companies will have to proceed very cautiously."
