AN EXPLANATION REQUIRED. (To the Editor.) Sir. —As a member 5 of the Stratford Boxing Association it would be interesting to know why the committee of that association formed themselves into a wrestling association without either calling a general meeting of members of their own association, or a public meeting to form a wrestling association. It is up to the committee of the boxing association to give .some account of their actions to the members of the boxing association who elected them to run a boxing association to foster the sport and manly pastime of boxing. Can the wrestling association reasonably expect the confidence and patronage of the public, or that members of the boxing association will pay a heavy admission fee to see a wrestling match promoted by the committee .-they elected to run boxing tournaments inlStratford? —I am. etc., MEMBER S.B.A.
