R FAROE—FLOYD. On August 14 at St. John’s Church, Ohakune, the wedding took place of Ellen Margaret, second daughter of Mr, and Mrs. J. Pearce, Ohakune, and Frederick, eldest eon of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd, Waitara. The Rev. Barnes, ALA., officiated.' The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of ivory silk crepe do chine, with long, uneven hemline, rucked bodice, and long sleeves, with an embossed veil and orange blossoms, and her bouquet was of heather and rases. The bridesmaid, Miss Rae Pearce, sietcr of the bride, was dressed in ivory georgette, ankle length, with peaked bodice and hem. She carried a bouquet of heather and jonquils. Mr. E. Blair, Waitara, attended as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the bride’s mother wearing a navy charmallaine ensemble costume and carrying a bouquet of violets. Aire. Floyd, mother of the . bridegroom, wore a navy crepe de chine frock and beige hat. Her bouquet also was of violets.
