One of the attractions in the greenhouse at the public gardens was, until a few days ago, says the Southland Times, a pot containing blooms of yellow trumpet narcissi of the golden spur variety. These were the first daffodils to bloom in Invercargill and were greatly admired. Now, however, they adorn some other place than the greenhouse, for they w’ere stolen by a person or persons with a noor sense of humour.
