Captain Barnard, who recently flew to Malta and back in 2(JJ hours, now aspires to breakfast in London and have dinner in Africa. He has provisionally arranged to fly the 1700 miles to Tangier from London on Friday and hopes to return in a total flying time of 22 hours. He pointe out the Malta flight proved it possible to avoid landing air mail machines going to India and to Australia on foreign territory, eo the Tanfier flight will solve a similar problem or air mails to the west coast of Africa, Tangier being an international port.
