A • Taranaki auctioneer yesterday availed himself... of air travel in the course of business and gave the Western Federated Aero Club its first "taxi” work. Flying Officer lan Keith left the Bell Block aerodrome for the south at twelve o’clock. At Hawera he picked up a man to show him the landing field on. Mr. C. R. Honeyfield’s property at Patea, and from there he conveyed his passenger to Wanganui. Another business man was brought as far as Hawera on the return trip and Mr. Keith landed again at Bell Block about 5 p.m.
Mr. J.’S. King, the well-known New Plymouth Rugby referee, has been appointed to referee in the AucklandWellington match alz.•Wellington on Saturday.
