The weather will still be mostly fair to fine and mild but some scattered showers are likely in western districts from Taranaki southwards. Westerly winds will prevail, strong at times in Cook and Foveaux Straits; otherwise moderate. Seas will be rough about Foveaux Strait and rather rough about Cook Strait; elsewhere moderate or smooth.
