AN AIRSHIP ON RAILS.—The George Bennie rail plane system of transport which has been erected at Milngavie, near Glasgow. It is driven by aircraft propellers at each end, and it is claimed that it is both safe and comfortable even when travelling at 120 miles an hour. This system is being installed between Blackpool and Southport, a distance of over two miles.
