The Morning Post’s city editor, says reading between the lines of cables from Canberra he is of opinion that decisions of importance are likely to be reached in the next few weeks in Australia. ~ “The refusal of all political parties to recognise the authority of economic laws is the cause of most Axistralian troubles,” he says. “We are living in times when theorists are prepared to offer quack remedies, but it is feared that the most efficacious will be probably unpalatable to the mere vote-catching politician.”
