PUBLIC NOTICES. APPRECIATION! The Highest authority in New Zealand approves of “Anzil’s” methods in cultivation of New Zealand Flax. QpHERE is no better authority on any phase of the New Zealand Hemp industry than Mr. Alfred Seifert of Palmerston North, who has been successfully engaged in the industry for the past 32 years. With his brother, Mr. L. Seifert, he was the founder of the largest Flax Millihg business in New Zealand, now called Miranui Ltd. in the Manavvptu and was Managing Director on its formation into a company and is now a Director of that Company having largely retired from active business. He is also chairman of the Phormium committee of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research and is an authority recognised by the Government, the Millers, Merchants, Bankers, and the public generally. With a lifetime of experience behind him his words on any question concerning the New Zealand hemp industry are authoritative and are entitled to the greatest respect. He was asked to visit “Anzil’s” Hempland properties at Gordonton, near Hamilton, and on July 22 and 23 made a complete inspection of the 3000 odd acres being handled by the company on behalf of “Hempland” Bondholders. He has no financial interest in the company whatever, either as a share or bondholder. Let us repeat his own words from his report. “I'want to state that it was a pleasure for me to look over your flax plantation at Gordonton and find the business conducted on such sound lines, both in regard to the method of planting and destroying the weeds, and economy exercised in carrying out the work. If you persevere in the way you are now working I feel sure that you will eventually be a great success and that you will be largely the means of permanently improving the flax milling industry in our Dominion.” This is a complete vindication of the company’s work and methods and is ,an assurance to the investing, public that “Hempland” Bonds are based on a genuine and sincere proposition. Send for Mr. Seifert’s full report, and particulars of the current “C” Issue of “Hempland” Bonds — but when investing see that they are “ANZIL HEMPLAND” BONDS. Salesmen for other concerns are quoting the good work of this company to sell rival bonds, but do not be misled. Be sure they are “Hemplands” based on land at Gordonton where the largest, most up-to-date and most scientifically conducted flax plantations in New Zealand are under development by:—
