the quarterly sessions THREE- CRIMINzYL CHARGES ■ - • -4 TWELVE CIVIL ACTIONS LISTED. £ : The quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court for the’judicial district of Taranaki open in New Plymouth on Monday morning. Mr. Justice Ostler is expected to preside. The list of cases cet down for hearing is not a particularly heavy one. In the criminal calendar there are three cases for trial (including a series of charges against one man under tho Bankruptcy Act) and two prisoners for sentence. 'Twelve actions are set down in the civil list, two of which will be heard before juries. These are actions involving claims arising out of motor collisions. There are also a number of non-witness actions to come before the court. There are seven miscellaneous petitions in divorce, and a number of miscellaneous bankruptcy matters.
