GENERAL ITEMS. (Prom Our Own Correspondent.) The weekly band euchre party was held on Monday evening, when despite the wet weather seven tables were occupied. The prizes were won by Mrs. Mischefski (1), Mrs. Bishell (2), Mrs. L. Aleliar consolation; Air. Martin (1), Mrs. Mischefski (2), Airs. N. Peters (playing as man), consolation. A fancy dress hockey match, men versus ladies, to have been played in aid of the ladies’ hockey club funds tomorrow, has had to be postponed. The Inglewood band at its meeting recently passed a motion’ of condolence with the relatives of the late Mr. E. Qlson and as a mark of respect played Mr. Olson’s favourite hymn. Mr. Olson for many years was interested in the work of the band and was for a time treasurer. On Sunday evening, next a memorial service will be held in St Andrew’s Church of England. The Inglewood third grade football team which last Thursday drew with Stratford in the semi-final for the central division championship, it being the third time these teams had met and drawn this season, will again meet Stratford on Thursday to - decide who shall meet Stratford Technical High School in the divisional final. The following will represent Inglewood: A. Thomason, Alleman, R. Ross, Drinkwater, Nyhan, Chapman, Arnold, W. Trigger, V. Beadle, 11. Burke, N. Mackinder, O’Byrne, E. Stuck, Peters, C. Burke, K. Burrows.
