DIPHTHERIA IN AUCKLAND
POINT CHEVALIER SCHOOL SHUT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Aug. 12. The Point Chevalier primary school lias been closed for a week owing to an outbreak of diphtheria. Seventeen children have been treated since July 23, also ono teacher. The medical officer of health has charge of the situation, which is believed to be well in hand.
