The latter is easily England’s best left-arm all-rounder. . The 13 would thus be Chapman, Duleepsinhji, Jupp, Peebles, Hobbs, Sutcliffe, Duckworth, Hammond, Hendren, Leyland, Tate, Larwood, Langridge.
