DEATH IN DRINKING BOUT
INQUEST ON OAMARU MAN
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Oamaru, Last Night. At an inquest into the death of William McGregor, aged 57, who was found dead in bed on Saturday morning, a verdict was returned in the terms of the medical evidence that McGregor died of fatty degeneration of the heart following upon acute alcoholism. The evidence of a neighbour showed that McGregor was in the middle of a drinking bout when he died.
