ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR YEAR. The Awakino Bowling Club held its annual meeting on Thursday. The bal-aucc-shcet showed a profit on the year’s working of £7 3s. Three new members were elected. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow: —President, Mr. J. R. Terrill; vice-president, Air. L. R. Jones; secretary and treasurer, Air. 11. ',L. Northern; committee, Alessrs, A. Bartlett, J. N. Bryant,. H. J. Gray. N. A. Clifton anti J. Fauids; selector,'Air. A. Bartlett; 'club umpire, Air. H. L. Northern; auditor Mr. H. J. Gray; delegate to centre, Air. A. K. Smart.
