DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETS. Newton King, Ltd., on Saturday received the following cablegram from London giving an indication of prices ruling oh Friday. The figures in brackets indicate tho position at August Butter. —The market remains quiet, prices varying very Tittle from those ruling last week. Salted, 134 s to 13Ss (136 s to 13Ss) ;• unsalted, 150 s (150 s wheys, firsts, 128 s (130 s -wheys, sec-' onds, 126 s (128 s The .cheese market is quiet, although prices seem to be maintained at last week’s levels. Coloured, 82s to 83s (82a to 83s); white, 77s to 78s' (77s to 70s). Collett and Company have the following cable advice: —Creamery butter, 134 s to 1365; whey butter, 126 s to 128 s; cheese- (white), 76s to 78s; coloured, 80s to 82s. The Anglo. Continental . Large yardings of dairy cattle, fat cattle and fat and store sheep were penned at the stock sale to-day and prices generally were in favour of vendors. Dairy cattle, especially, found a ready market. Fat sheep sold readily at prices firm at late rates. There w r as a rise in the- prices of 1 cattle and good lines found buyers att up to 32s per 1001 b for prime cow and heifer beef, and 33 shillings for bullock, beef.
