AMATEUR CYCLING
HANDICAPS FOR TO-DAY. The following handicaps have been declared for the New Plymouth Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club’s fifth race of the second series, to be decided this afternoon, from the hospital gates via Frankley Road and back to Smith Street, Vogeltown (finishing., point) by the Carrington Road, a total distance of about 11 miles.—L. Heatley and G. Reed scr, J. Horne 25scc, J. Gillies 30sec, W. Snowden 35sec, T. Batten Imin, H. Cavaney Imin 20sec, P. Hawkins 2inin lOsee, J. Mureh 2min 40sec, and A. Lile 3m in 30sec. The road is in good order, and fast times are expected.
