Although bishops from all' parts of the Empire have been discussing vital problems for more than a month nothing beyond a vague, colourless resume has i been allowed to escape from the Lambeth Conference Chamber. Church people are protesting against such a hush-hush policy and want to know what the bishops are thinking about divorce, birth control and the admission of women to the priesthood. Answeijs to the last two questions may be given when a report is published on August 15, says the News-Chronicle.
