Part of the old boarding-house will be remodelled and a second storey ’ ~ z ’ will be added to-the building. ;• * The structure will.be of two storeys, ■ the principal’s residence facing Avenue Road. Between the principal’s residence and the dormitory block will be the - maids’, quarters, self-contained but forming part of the whole building. On the ground floor there will be three large dormitories and a locker-room with 84 lockers and shower baths. There will, •be similar dormitory accommodation oh the' first floor and masters’: rooms oh both floors.'"’ < The buildings -will "be made bf- reinforced -concrete, finished on the outside with rough-cast and- plain cement plaster. The-contract price for the work is a bout £ll,OOO, and’the'successful tenderers were Boon Bros., Ltd., and the architect- is Mr. T; H. Bates.'
