CHARGE AGAINST PRINCIPAL. London, July 30. Mrs. Hilda Fearn,'‘principal of the Mervale Girls’ School, Bickley, who was proceeded against by the. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, in connection with the death of one child from pneumonia, follov/ing measles, and the affliction of eight others with ringr worm, has been committed for trial. The assistant matron employed at the school from January to June last gave evidence that eome> children were in a disgusting stats arid she suggested that the doctor should be called in, but Mrs. Fearn repliqd that measles was only a child's complaint, Mm.
