TARANAKI RUGBY TOUR

TEAM FOR AUCKLAND CHOSEN. (By Wire—Special to News.) Auckland, Last Night. The Taranaki Rugby team arrived at Auckland about 1 p.m. to-day after a pleasant three hours* run from Hamilton. They were met by Messrs. T. Buchanan, for over 20 years a member of the Taranaki Rugby Union, and Geo. Nicholson. The team is in good condition and is looking forward to Saturday’s match. To-night members are the guests or the Auckland Union at the Majestic Theatre. In the morning they will indulge in practice. Selector Guy has choecu the team for Saturday. As compared with the team for the Waikato match the only alteration is that T. Robinson replaces Mace at first fiveeighth and J. Young and J. Richards replace P. Gargan and R. Bond in the forwards. The teams is: Collins Watson Crawford Hunter Hunt T. Robinson Gudgeon Guy i. Youim Robinson Baldwin Clarke Walter (capt.) Wills Richards Reserves—Mace, Mercer (backs), Garwan and Bond (forwards). ° Mr. G. Peace has been selected as referee.
