IMPROVING COLD WEATHER.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will still be changeable with scattered showers, but will improve. There will be cold night temperatures. The cyclone is now moving away eastward but a slight secondary depression is crossing the southern portion of the Dominion. A moderate anticyclone is .approaching northern New Zealand. There will be west to south winds freshening again shortly along the east coast and otherwise moderate to strong. Seas will be rather rough on the west coast with considerable swell and later will be rising on the east coast south of Castlcpoint. Elsewhere seas will be moderate.
