SEARCH OF TIMOR ORDERED A. T. CUNNINGHAM OVERDUE PERILOUS TRIP TO ENGLAND By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 12.30 a.m. Weltverden, August 6. Mr. A. T. Cunningham, who hopped off from Wyndham yesterday on the first stage of his flight from Australia to England, has not arrived at Bima, his objective. At Weltevreden there is no news of him. The authorities at Ko epang and Tinlor have ordered a search of the interior of Timor Island.. Mr. Cunningham is flying in an Australian machine in an endeavour to beat Bert Hinkler’s record time from England to Australia. His early preparations for the flight were shrouded in mystery, Mr. Cunadngham giving a name other than his own, as he desired that his patents should not know of the flight, thus saving them anxiety.
