’ HINDU MOSLEM TENSION GRAVE POSITION IN SAKKUR HINDU MADMAN RUNS AMOK ELEVEN MOSLEMS KILLED By Telegraph— Press Assn.—Copyright. Bee. 7 p.m. Delhi, Aug. 6. Acute tension between Hindus and Moslems in Hiwwar City in Punjab had a dramatic sequel yesterday when a Hindu ran amok with a gun, killed 11 and wounded four Moslems. He rushed into a butcher’s shop and shot every Moslem, of whom there were nine, dead. Then the madman left the city, killing two more. He is still at large. There is a grave situation at Sukkur following Hindu-Moslem riots. Machineguns are guarding the main streets and public buildings while'armed police and Europeans are patrolling the city. Two companies of Indian infantry are proceeding to the city from Hyderabad. Rioting has broken out again and there are many cases of robbery with violence occurring in secluded parts of .tho city. The victims in most cases have been refugees from the floods, who at present are living in the streets and open spaces.
