MENACE OF COMMUNISTS
MISSIONERS TO LEAVE STATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Shanghai, Aug. 5. Owing to a very real Communistic menace existing in China missionaries have been ordered to make immediate preparations to evacuate interior stations. Recently the Communist troops captured two missionaries, Misses Nettleton and Harrison. They cut off the former’s fingers on one hand and sent them to the Church Missionary Society,’ demanding a huge ransom.
