BURGLARIES AT WARIER
PAINSTAKING THIEVES FAIL. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. . Napier, Aug. 5. ' The. fourth burglary within three weeks took place last night at the pieinises of the Napier Woollen Company. Thieves entered through a coal shute, forced four doors and opened two fireproof doors before reaching the office safe, which was.found this morning with its. side ripped off, apparently with a crowbar. ' The thieves failed to penetrate the drawers where there was a considerable sum. The heavy safe, weighing 6cwt., was lifted from its stand by the wall.
