(From Our Own Correspondent.) The .Hurford Road’ hall committee held a very successful long night dance on Thursday evening, a large number coming from New Plymouth as well as from the surrounding 'districts. A very cold night kept the dancers moving. The music was 1 supplied by ■George’s Orchestra. Ohb Monte Carlo waltz was neld and was won by Miss Maud Ryan and Mr. ! Dave Lynch. Progressive euchre was enjoyed by nondaiicers, Mr. J. Lynch being iri’charge of the’-eight tables engaged. The prizes were won by Mrs. W. McKee 'and Mr. :E.' Spence. The ladies’ prize was donjated by 'Miss Lillian Williams. Supper was served by the ladies, after which the dancers continued to enjoy themselves till the small hoiirs of the morning- ."''"'7 Mrs. M.
