MIXED BATHING IN LONDON.—For the first time, mixed bathing commenced m the Serpentine, Hyde Park, on the afternoon of June 16, and was inaugurated by Mr. George Lansbury, First Commissioner of Works. A large crowd of bathers and onlookers assembled early and patiently awaited the opening.
