V. S. Griffiths, presiding over the annual meeting of the District Nurse Association last night. There was a good attendance. The annual report, already published, was adopted. The following officers were elected: — Patroness, Mrs. F. E. Wilson; president, Mrs. H. V. S. Griffiths; committee, Mesdames E. Brash, W. Clarke, T. C. Fookes, W. Guild, P. C. Gamham, H. V. S. Griffiths, R. Hawkins, G. T. Loveridge and W? L; Newman; advisory board, Messrs. H. V. Si Griffiths, T. G. Hirst and E. Holden; hon. auditor, Mr. R. O. Ellis; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mrs. M. Avery.
Votes of thanks were passed to those who had assisted the committee and the district nurse. The chairman said the district nurse did not. receive as much assistance as slie' deserved. The pakt" year had' been the hardest year Sister trill had experienced and any assistance had been greatly appreciated.
